Contributions from Leonardo Polo’s trascendental anthropology to neo-Aristotelian virtue ethics in business ethics

Summary

This article explores the possible contributions of Polo’s Trascendental Anthropology to neo-Aristotelian virtue ethics in the context of business ethics. It asks whether Polo’s approach can enrich this neo-Aristotelian approach, thus providing a more integral anthropological perspective. This does not necessarily mean a “critique”, but rather that we want to explore whether there is something “additional” that can contribute to such an approach. We propose the concept of ‘synderesis’, as presented by Polo, as a bridge that connects someone’s personal being to its manifestation in intelligence and will, and therefore allows access to ethics.

Palabras claves: personal trascendentales, neo-Aristotelian virtue ethics, habit of synderesis, practical reason.
